My Garden Vases, 2024
Inspired by my garden at home, these collages included a lino printed vase with mono screen printed hand cut elements that are formed together to represent a specific flower. The flowers shown below have been chosen as they are frequent in my garden at home and so remind me of this place. These collages were displayed in a horizontal line with audio that I had filmed whilst in the garden. This piece created a home from home sensation whilst studying away from my hometown, using the act of the vase to transport the garden into a new space that I am not yet familiar with.
